As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business-the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. I really want to focus on this high school season, but I am so excited to play at Tennessee.Criminal Background Check Who does HomeAdvisor background check? “I feel like basketball is always a home for me, but I know the coaching staff has my back,” he said. He had other offers, including ones from Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Arizona State, Louisville, Cal, Oregon State, and Arkansas. He admits he gets many questions about why he chose Tennessee when many California basketball players prefer to stay closer to home. “I want to be known not just as a great basketball player but a great person and a great Christian.”īasketball will remain the constant as he finishes one basketball career and starts another in the coming weeks, about 2,000 miles away. Using something like this, I can help so many people in this world … like feeding the homeless and bringing others to Christ,” he said. “I love basketball with a passion and I’m a Christian. He’ll leave an important legacy in a storied program, but he hopes people remember him for more than basketball. He’s one of those guys you know will be there every second of the game, ready to battle ‘til the end.” “The reason he’s been able to be so successful from early in his high school career is him doing what no one else wants to do on the team. “Jahmai is a hard-working, blue-collar player,” Camren Pierce, who now plays at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, wrote via text. Kleckner sees Mashack as a unique player in the history of his program. “At one point, Jahmai asked, ‘what’s my role? What do you want me to do?’ I said, ‘I’m not going to give you a role.’ I entrusted him to whatever he’s capable of doing.” We expect all players to do all things,” Kleckner said. “He fits the mold perfectly in what we want in a basketball player. He even had questions about how he fit into the program. “But I’ve learned how to adjust and make an impact.” “It’s definitely tough not to have the stats I’m capable of getting,” Mashack admitted. As a result, most players do not put up gaudy offensive numbers. Mashack wanted to attend Etiwanda since he was young. “I still have to get used to it because of what I’ve been doing (seeing her at games) the last 13-14 years. Even if I had a bad game, I could give her a hug,” he said. It has been months since her death, but the start of the season has Mashack thinking about her more.
